The following information will also be mailed to you with your tour deposit and payments. 

MAKING A PAYMENT:
Day Trips: require full payment within two weeks of date of reservation.

Overnight Motorcoach Tours: require only a $100.00 deposit within two weeks of date of reservation.

Air Flight Tours: require a $275.00 deposit within two weeks of date of reservation.

Cruise Tours: require a $675.00 deposit within two weeks of date of reservation.

 

Please note: If deposit is not received within two weeks of date of reservation, your reservation may be released.  You will receive a confirmation reflecting your deposit paid and your final payment due date.

 

Deposits: are 100% refundable up to your final payment due date.

 

Final Payments: must be received by scheduled date prior to departure, or your reservation may be released.  (see below)

 

TOUR CANCELLATION POLICIES

Our “FAIR REFUND POLICY” secures you and your money! We know that unexpected emergencies may arise, and although we
hope this never happens, we try to be most accommodating with your cancellation refund.  The following are our cancellation policies for each tour type.


Day Trip Cancellations:
(Full Payment due with reservation)

All Day Trips are fully refundable up to two weeks prior to your Day Trip Departure.   Cancellations within two weeks will result in no refund due to your monies already paid to suppliers & vendors guaranteeing motorcoach head count for the Day Trip to operate. Domestic Motorcoach / Air Overnight Tours:
(final payment due 45 days prior to departure)
All Overnight Motorcoach and Air Flight Tour prices (thru December 31, 2022) INCLUDE Travel Cancellation protection.

Your complete paid tour price is fully refundable through the travel insurance cancellation policy/company for any, and only MEDICAL ILLNESSES.  A confirmed cancellation with our office must be made at least 72 hours prior to your Tour Departure date.  A documented doctor medical statement must be provided within two weeks after cancellation is made.  (Any costs related to additional personal medical release forms are the responsibility of the insured traveler).

*Due to the Covid19 health crisis, DIRECTIONS Tours highly recommends traveling guests to secure an additional Travel Health Insurance policy to covered themselves for any medical emergencies (including Covid19 issues) while traveling on tour.  *PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION

 International Tours (and Hawaii and Alaska):
(final payment due 90 days prior to departure):

DIRECTIONS Tours does NOT include Cancellation Protection on International, Hawaii or Alaska Tours. Cancellation Refunds are decided by the suppliers/tour operators.  These will be outlined to you upon making a reservation. DIRECTIONS Tours HIGHLY RECOMMENDS purchasing an individual travel cancellation/health insurance plan to secure your monies. *PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION

*ADDITIONAL TRAVEL HEALTH INSURANCE FOR YOUR DEPARTURE:

During travel, if a traveling guest should report symptoms of Covid-19, we would get immediate medical attention/care for the sick.  If it is deemed that the guest’s illness/symptoms are Covid-19 related by medical professionals, our office will assist the affected traveler in returning home separate from the group.  Travelers who test positive for Covid19 while traveling must follow the current CDC quarantine guidelines and/or their Medical Professionals advice.

Unfortunately, the remainder of the tour is non-refundable for all guests affected, and additional expenses to return home/quarantine stays that may occur are the traveler’s responsibility.  No exceptions can be made to this policy.

DIRECTIONS Tours HIGHLY RECOMMENDS ALL TRAVELING GUESTS TO PURCHASE A SEPARATE TRAVEL HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY PRIOR TO TRAVELING.  PLEASE CALL OUR TRAVEL PARTNERS AT ALTAIR TRAVEL (314) 968-9600 to inquire about purchasing additional coverage for your tour vacation.

TOUR INFORMATION PACKET:

Overnight Tours: You will receive your Tour Information Packet approximately 7-10 days prior to your tour departure date. This packet will outline everything for your tour including; pick-up location and time, hotel information, special requests, motorcoach seating, and more pertinent information concerning your vacation tour.

Day Trips: You will receive your pick-up letter including pick-up time approximately 7-10 days prior to your departure date.

 

Company photography on tours: Photo Your privacy will be protected at all times, and addresses / email addresses supplied to us will never be shared with a third party. Only information on reserved tours will be sent.  Photos taken by DIRECTIONS Tours staff during a tour/day trip are property of DIRECTIONS Tours and customers agree to allow DIRECTIONS Tours to use them for promotional advertising/web/press.  If you choose to not have your photo used, please contact us prior to departure for a waiver.

Privacy Rights / Copyrights / Protection Policy

Directions Saint Louis, LLC / DBA DIRECTIONS Tours acts only as an agent for the various independent suppliers that provided hotel accommodations, transportation, sightseeing, activities, or other services connected with any tour.  Such services are subject to the terms and condition of those suppliers.  Directions Saint Louis, LLC and their respective employees, agents, representatives, companies and assigns accept no liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or any other incident which may be caused by the negligence, defect, default of any company or person in performing theses services. Responsibility is not accepted for losses, injury, damages or expenses of any kind due to sickness, weather, strikes, hostilities, wars, terrorist acts, acts of nature, local laws or other such causes.  All services and accommodations are subject to the laws and regulations of the state or country in which they are provided.  Directions Saint Louis, LLC is not responsible for any baggage or personal effects of any individual participating in the tours/trips arranged by Directions Saint Louis, LLC.  Individual travelers are responsible for purchasing a travel insurance policy, if desired, that will cover of some of the expense associated with the loss of luggage or personal effects.  Directions Saint Louis, LLC reserves the right to change or alter any of independent hotels, attractions and suppliers on any given itinerary  (client will be notified if any changes must be made).  Directions Saint Louis, LLC holds all copyrights on all exclusive Directions Saint Louis, LLC tour itineraries and reproduction or use without the consent of Directions Saint Louis, LLC is strictly prohibited.
